Privacy Policy
This notice describes the current My Anant sales and task management app and its web panel, used by Anant Jewelry Studio and authorised team members. It covers information entered by users and data used to provide the service.
Information handled by the service
| Information | Purpose |
|---|---|
| User name, mobile number, password hash, role, account status and optional profile photo | Account administration, sign-in, access permissions and profile display. |
| Customer/company names, contact details, visit and follow-up dates, requirements, notes, reviews and status | Customer relationship management and follow-up work. |
| Saved addresses and latitude/longitude selected or obtained when using a location feature | Record visit locations and open saved places in mapping services. The current app does not implement continuous background location tracking. |
| Task instructions, assignees, progress, completion notes and handover history | Assign, complete, pass on and review work. |
| Selected photos, visiting-card front/back images, videos and documents | Profile pictures, customer records and task attachments. Visiting-card slots accept images only. |
| Foreground usage intervals, activity session identifiers, last-seen times and online status | User Activity reporting for administrators with permission to access that feature. |
| Push notification registration tokens, platform/device registration information, notification and delivery records | Deliver app notifications and reminders. |
Access within the organisation
Administrators manage accounts and permissions. Access to customer, task and activity records depends on the user's role and configured permissions. Task handover history shares previous instructions, completion notes and attachment links with participants who can access a task in that workflow.
Service providers and external services
The current implementation uses PythonAnywhere for the backend and Cloudinary for uploaded media. Firebase Cloud Messaging and the Apple push notification system support mobile notifications. Where configured, Twilio sends administrator recovery SMS messages. Location selection and address lookup use OpenStreetMap/Nominatim; opening a saved Google Maps link sends the selected coordinates or address to Google Maps. These services process information needed for the relevant feature under their own privacy practices. Hosting services may keep technical request logs.
Device permissions and user choices
Camera and location features request device permission where needed. Images and files are selected through device pickers. You can decline device permissions or change them in device settings; related features may then be unavailable. Adding media is optional. Clearing a customer follow-up date stops future reminders for that date. Logging out ends the app's signed-in activity session.
Retention and deletion
The current system does not automatically expire customer, task, media or activity records after a fixed number of days. Organisation administrators manage retention. Records may be needed for ongoing business work, security or applicable record-keeping duties. Replaced visiting-card images are removed from active records, with old storage assets cleaned up on a best-effort basis. Deactivating a user account alone does not delete its stored data.
You can request account and personal-data deletion or anonymisation through the Account Deletion page. Requests require identity verification and review of linked records. Records about other people and business transactions may need to be retained; support should explain any applicable retention when handling a request.
Security and updates
The service uses password hashing, authenticated requests, role/permission checks and authenticated media delivery. No system can guarantee absolute security. This notice may be updated when the app's data handling changes.
